L.A. Care covers orthotic and prosthetic devices and services that are medically necessary and prescribed by your doctor, podiatrist, dentist, or non-physician medical provider.
They include implanted hearing devices, breast prosthesis/mastectomy bras, compression burn garments, and prosthetics to restore function or replace a body part, or to support a weakened or deformed body part.
