L.A. Care covers speech therapy that is medically necessary.
Speech therapy services are limited to 2 services per month, in combination with acupuncture, audiology, chiropractic, and occupational therapy services. Limits do not apply to children under age 21.
L.A. Care may pre-approve (prior authorize) more services as medically necessary.
