L.A. Care Health Plan’s CEO, Martha Santana-Chin, was one of five newly named Latino leaders honored at VPE Communications’ annual All the Right Moves event. The event, hosted by the Latina-owned public relations agency, brought together media, communications, marketing and public relations professionals for an evening of networking and community building.
During her remarks, Martha shared that she feels a tremendous sense of responsibility to not only serve our members, but also uplift and champion their voices. She also talked about her values and how they have nurtured and influenced her leadership journey. Martha also stressed the importance of leaders working collectively to break down barriers and create environments that support learning, development, and empowerment.
The other four honorees were Erica Bernal-Martinez, NALEO and NALEO Educational Fund’s new Chief Executive Officer; Rigo J. Saborio, Archstone Foundation’s new President and Chief Executive Officer; Alejandra Santamaria, LAist and Southern California Public Radio’s new President and Chief Executive Officer; and Susan Santana, AT&T California’s new President.
