The program aims to build stronger small businesses, especially those owned by women and minorities, by helping them develop the knowledge necessary to compete for contracts.
The next session of the three-phase, six-month program kicks off on Wednesday, June 1. The first phase includes a contractor boot camp, with training on things like expansion planning, financial stability, project management and certifications. Phases two and three will offer one-on-one direct consulting, coaching, proposal writing, and marketing. The businesses will also benefit from specialized matchmaking and relationship building that will prepare these businesses to land contracts with larger companies.
