L.A. Care Health Plan Enrollment Support Services (ESS) Representatives and the Field Sales Team have a unique and important role in increasing membership. They promote product lines and services, enhance access to care for members, support providers and serve as a resource for the community.
ESS Representatives conduct outbound calls from their assigned leads, as well as take inbound calls that are derived from the various marketing campaigns designed for the product lines.
The Field Sales Team is responsible for building strategic partnerships with L.A. Care-contracted physicians, medical groups and other organizations to drive membership growth and retention. They educate the community on the health plan and its services by working closely with external stakeholders to strengthen L.A. Care's community presence.
The Field Sales Team also drives business impact, and positions L.A. Care as a premier choice health plan. In addition, they help to identify the health care needs of individuals and families by assisting with the completion of a comprehensive needs assessment. The Field Sales Team guides them through the enrollment process in the comfort of their own home or preferred location.
