LAC DPH Health Advisory: Increasing COVID-19 Cases; Isolation and Quarantine; Testing Access
The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (LAC DPH) issued a health advisory on July 4, 2020. L.A. County is experiencing a concerning increase in community COVID-19 cases and the number of new patients requiring hospitalization has increased substantially.
This advisory covers projections, and urges review of decompression plans and preparation for another wave of cases. It also includes updates on testing and isolation orders.
Because guidance for the prevention and management of COVID-19 may change, providers and staff are encouraged to visit the Los Angeles Health Alert Network (LAHAN) website frequently.
