L.A. Care Health Plan has awarded $344,000 to 24 clinics in Los Angeles County through our Star Partner Program. The funds will be used for a variety of technical expansion projects including the purchase of new computer workstations, software licenses, upgrades to clinic websites, dental clinic x-ray cameras and upgrades to telephone systems.

L.A. Care’s Star Partner Program was developed in 2005 to help safety net clinics outreach, promote, market and grow membership in the underserved communities in L.A. County. The program exemplifies L.A. Care’s mission – to provide access to quality health care for Los Angeles County’s vulnerable and low income communities and residents.
