L.A. Care names the "Top 50" physicians in new Star Physician incentive program.

L.A. Care announced its “Top 50” primary care providers for the new 2011-12 Star Physician incentive program. To be eligible, physicians must meet five baseline criteria and also achieve up to seven service improvement goals.
Physicians meeting one to four goals receive 1,000 free co-branded promotional items, an exclusive Star Physician logo lab coat and Star Physician signage for patient waiting areas. Physicians meeting five to seven goals receive additional promotional items and a $5,000 practice support incentive.
