As of January 1, 2023, a new state bill requires all providers who administer vaccines to enter immunizations, as well as patient’s race and ethnicity, into a California immunization registry. For Los Angeles County, CAIR is the immunization registry to use. For more information, visit the CA Immunization Registry on the California Department of Public Health Website. You will find frequently asked questions and resources to set up a CAIR account or enter historical data.
Please remember to document patient immunizations on CAIR and stay up to date with entries. CAIR is the main source of immunization data capture that L.A. Care utilizes for the L.A.
