KFI AM 640's Gary and Shannon Show mentioned L.A. Care CEO John Baackes when discussing the pending budget deadline in Sacramento. They applauded his recent quote in the Wall Street Journal on how prudence is needed in budget discussions, for while the state may be able to afford a full expansion now of health coverage, it might have to change course in a future economic downturn.
