State of Reform Reports on L.A. Care's New Partnership with UCLA

State of Reform featured L.A. Care's newest partnership in "L.A. Care and UCLA Health announce agreement to serve Medi-Cal patients". Yesterday, the two entities signed an agreement that will open access to specialized tertiary and quaternary care services like complex surgery, cancer treatment and intensive care services at UCLA's highly-regarded Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center and the UCLA Medical Center in Santa Monica for Medi-Cal patients.

We're pleased to bring expanded access to high-quality health care to our Medi-Cal members. UCLA is always ranked among the top hospital systems in the country, and now our members will benefit from that expertise.

In addition to specialized care, the agreement provides that 3,500 L.A. Care Medi-Cal patients will be eligible to receive primary care services from UCLA Medical Group.
