2024 Open Enrollment for L.A. Care Covered™ Providing an Affordable Path to Wellness
LOS ANGELES – The 2024 Open Enrollment Period on the Covered California Exchange is starting on November 1, and L.A. Care Health Plan is offering quality care at an affordable price, with premiums as low as $0 per month. L.A. Care, the largest health plan in Los Angeles County, has the most affordable rates across all metal levels compared to other exchange plans in the county. L.A. Care offers an affordable path to wellness.

L.A. Care’s large provider network includes UCLA and Optum. Members have access to walk-in Minutes Clinics, Urgent Care Centers, and a 24/7 Nurse Advice Line.
“Open enrollment is an important three-month period where people can make critical decisions about health coverage for themselves and their families,” said Baackes. “We understand that health care is complicated, and that’s why we have teams ready to help explain the ins and outs.”
Prospective members have options on how to get help with enrollment or get information about the benefits of each plan. They can visit one of the L.A. Care/Blue Shield Promise Community Resource Centers across L.A. County where enrollers are on site. L.A. Care is also hosting informational booths across the county through the end of the open enrollment period. In addition to those shopping for health coverage, L.A. Care representatives are also available to answer questions from individuals who are transitioning from Medi-Cal into L.A. Care Covered. L.A. The 2024 open enrollment period runs from November 1, 2023 through January 31, 2024. Renewals began on October 1, 2023.
