The Covered California 2022 Open Enrollment Period is a very important three-month period when consumers shop around and make critical decisions about health coverage for themselves and their families. But health insurance is complicated and some might feel overwhelmed about making those decisions. That’s why L.A. Care Health Plan is hosting a Facebook and YouTube Live event, in English and Spanish, to give people the answers to common questions about open enrollment.
During the event, viewers will learn how much time they have to make these important decisions about their health coverage and what happens if they don’t get insurance. They will also hear about new subsidies through the American Rescue Plan that can result in premiums as low as $0 per month.
