Glendale News-Press Features L.A. Care Sponsorship of CCHC

The Glendale News-Press featured L.A. Care in "Event to offer free backpacks, school supplies". L.A. Care gave a grant to Comprehensive Community Health Centers (CCHC) in support of their Back to School Health and Wellness Event taking place this Saturday, August 18 at Pacific Park Community Center.

The event is associated with National Health Center Week, which recognizes the contributions that Federally Qualified Health Centers make toward improving the health of individuals and communities. L.A. Care sponsored a variety of similar community clinic events held during this weeklong celebration throughout Los Angeles County.

The CCHC event will go from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Activities include a backpack giveaway, games and refreshments, free dental, vision and women's health screenings.
