L.A. Care recently announced that SilverSneakers® is now available as a free fitness benefit for members in the Cal MediConnect (CMC) plan.
SilverSneakers® provides access to 15,000 fitness centers nationwide, including most LA Fitness, 24 Hour Fitness, Golds, Curves and Planet Fitness locations across Los Angeles County.
In addition to weights and exercise machines, many locations offer SilverSneakers® instructor-led group classes designed for older adults of all fitness levels. The benefit starts as soon as a patient is enrolled in L.A. Care's CMC plan.
