L.A. Care IT Leader Among Panelists at Prestigious IT Forum

L.A. Care Executive Digital Advisor Tom Schwaninger on panel at CHIME 19 L.A. Care’s Executive Digital Advisor Tom Schwaninger was a panelist at the CHIME 19 Fall CIO Forum in Phoenix today. The forum, hosted by the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME), is the premier event for healthcare Chief Information Officers and other healthcare IT executives. 

Schwaninger was one of four senior HIT leaders from the payor sector who held an open discussion on the challenges of interoperability. The panelists all agreed that payors and providers need to collaborate more closely on how to make data sharing happen faster for the benefit of members.

CHIME, established in 1992, has more than 2,900 members in 51 countries.
