L.A. Care Commits $20 Million to Tackle Homelessness

As part of L.A. Care’s external 20th Anniversary Celebration held recently at Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital, CEO John Baackes unveiled a plan to contribute $20 million over five years. The recipient is Brilliant Corners, a group that helps house the homeless population in Los Angeles County. Many of these individuals are L.A. Care members with complex medical issues.
