L.A. Care has paid more than $9.8 million in incentive payments for thePhysician Pay-for-Performance (P4P) Program to more than 600 physicians and community clinics. The highest performers received more than $3.00 PMPM, reflecting L.A. Care’s commitment to rewarding clinical excellence and year-over-year improvement.
The Physician P4P Program continues in 2013 for eligible high-volume Medi-Cal physicians. By focusing on improvement in key clinical quality measures, and by promptly reporting encounter and lab data, physicians can increase their future performance-based incentives.
