Payment integrity can be confusing and overwhelming, but it is essential for making sure that the health plan is paid per contract terms, and without waste, fraud or abuse. HealthLeaders, a media company dedicated to meeting the business information needs of healthcare professionals, is hosting a webinar today designed to share strategies for success in the area of payment integrity.

Chad Roswick, , is the featured speaker at today’s webinar, which is titled Critical Success Factors for Payment Integrity for Health Plans. Roswick will describe the high-level payment integrity roadmap that he developed at L.A. Care over the past four years. He will describe moving the health plan from a posture of “Why do we need a payment integrity program?” to one of “Why haven’t we always done this?” He will explain the importance of getting buy-in across the organization, including departments like claims, provider network management, health services, compliance, and legal. Roswick says executive leadership prioritizing the effort was critical to its success.

Roswick will be interviewed today by Jyoti Jalali, Senior Manager of Business Development at Council for Affordable Quality Healthcare. The discussion aims to help listeners learn how to create their own roadmap for payment integrity success.
