L.A. Care Wins Outstanding Website in Two Categories From the Web Marketing Association

The L.A. Care Digital Communications Team Receives High Marks for Content, Design, & Interactivity

L.A. Care Health Plan, the nation’s largest publicly operated health plan, has received two WebAwards 2020 Outstanding Website awards in the categories of health care and nonprofit from the Web Marketing Association. The Web Marketing Association was founded in 1997 to help set a high standard for internet marketing and development of websites, and L.A. Care was among the best for 2020.

L.A. Care’s website was judged in seven categories – design, innovation, content, technology, interactivity, copywriting, and ease of use.  No category received a score less than 8 out of 10 points, and having receiving a total of 60 points out of a potential 70, the website far surpassed both the industry average and the WebAwards average. The website received its highest marks for content – 9.5 points, and for design and interactivity – each receiving 9 points.

All eight members of the digital team were recognized. They are Simon Bliss, Supervisor, Digital Communications; Hannibal Tabu, Supervisor, Digital Communications; Wade Butcher, Digital Specialist; Jennifer Han, Digital Designer; Eric Hesterman, Digital Developer; Afton Kobayashi, Digital Writer; Steve Miller, Digital Developer; and Jeffrey Ramos, Digital Specialist.
