Los Angeles — L.A. Care Health Plan announced the appointment of three new members to its Board of Governors:
- Al Ballesteros, President and CEO, JWCH Institute, Inc.
- Layla Delgado, RCAC 11, Community Outreach Coordinator, Personal Assistance Services Council
- Stephanie Booth, MD, active locum tenens physician
“I am pleased to welcome our newest board members, each of whom brings a wealth of knowledge and experience,” said L.A. Care CEO John Baackes. “Their depth of expertise in health care will no doubt be an asset to the organization and L.A. Care members, especially as we head into uncharted waters under a new presidential administration.”
L.A. Care’s Board of Governors is a 13-member stakeholder board, which includes representatives of community clinics, hospitals, federally qualified health centers, doctors, members, advocates, and the County of Los Angeles.
