Hands-On Healthy Cooking Class

Featuring “Chopping,” a basic but important cooking technique. Provided in partnership with Seeds of Hope.

If your new year’s resolution is to eat healthier and improve your cooking skills, please join us for this afternoon cooking class!

You will learn key cooking techniques to promote working with fresh ingredients. Have you seen TV chefs chop veggies super fast? We don’t promise you’ll be that quick, but we hope techniques like that will empower you to make at home meals more often.

Attendees will receive fresh vegetables and fruits after class to practice the new learned skills with their families.

This class is FREE and OPEN to everyone!

Date and Time: January 17 from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Location: Boyle Heights Family Resource Center
