November 20th was the Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR), an event that honors the memory of those whose lives were lost in acts of anti-transgender violence.
In recognition of the needs of the transgender community, L.A. Care formed the Transgender Health Program (THP) in 2014. THP provides care navigation services for members seeking transgender services and surgeries. As a reminder, transgender surgical services are a carve-in benefit for L.A. Care.
