What is HEDIS®? HEDIS is a tool used by most American health plans to measure performance on important dimensions of care and service.
Examples of these measures are breast cancer screening rates, cervical cancer screening rates and immunization rates. Performing well on these measures could mean being rewarded with incentive dollars as part of L.A. Care’s Pay-for-Performance (P4P) program.
