Fraud & Abuse

We are asking your help to stop fraud and abuse of health care services. Fraud is when someone does something wrong to benefit from it and the person knows it is wrong.

  Has a doctor made you overpay for an office visit?
  Has a drug store made you overpay for your medicines?
  Has a dental clinic forced you to sign-up with them?
 

Have you seen someone use another person's Medi-Cal or Healthy Families card?

This could be fraud.

 

What happens when people commit health care fraud?

Money is wasted.

The money could have provided health care for more people.
