Seniors and People with Disabilities

Your Medi-Cal May be Changing

If you are a senior or a person with disabilities you may now need to get Medi-Cal through a health plan or HMO.

This change may not affect you if:

  •   You have both Medicare and Medi-Cal
  •   You have share-of-cost Medi-Cal
  •   Other things, such as being in a nursing home.

Your health care benefits will stay the same. What changes is that you must choose a health plan to care for you.
