Interpreter Services

L.A. Care provides free 24-hour interpreter services for those members who speak a different language than their health care provider.

You have the right to free face-to-face interpreter services to explain your child’s health problem and understand treatments. You do not need to use your family members or friends to interpret for you.

The doctor’s office, clinic, or hospital cannot deny services because you do not speak English or are disabled.
