The Lynwood Family Resource Center promotes management of chronic diseases like asthma and diabetes. We offer health education and classes free to L.A. Care members and the public. 

Classes include fitness, nutrition, parenting and managing chronic diseases. We also provide help in applying to health insurance programs for low-income families.

Please Join Us for Our Two-Day Series: Mental Conditions in the Elderly

Getting older can bring senior mental health challenges. If a senior is displaying signs of mental illness, it’s important to recognize the symptoms and seek treatment as soon as possible. Some of the common mental illnesses the elderly experience is: Anxiety, Dementia, & Depression. Mental illnesses are treatable, but the trick is a correct diagnosis.

This class is free and open to everyone.
